Adult Advanced Workshop - Tuesdays

This is an upper level class and NOT a beginner's class. *

The class is heavily weighted toward detailed scene work. MOST of the work will be tailored to the specific needs of the participating actors. This will be a demanding workshop. Please do not even consider it if you are unable or unwilling to do thework. * Some new applicants may be asked to interview and/or audition for this aggressive workshop. The minimum requirements to participate in this workshop are those actors who have completed a minimum of four full sessions at Studio Actreel or other equivalent training program.

Young Adult Workshop - Mondays

CLASS IS LIMITED TO 10 ACTORS

Our Studio in Burbank

This is NOT a beginner's class.

This class is attempts to strike a balance between solid

scene work, improv and audition prep.

Taught from a Director's perspective, it looks toward

de-mystifying the process and solving problems.

A small number of Advanced Teens (16 and up) will

be allowed to apply for this Adult class.

 

 

Adult Private Intensives - Wednesdays

Classes will begin as they fill.

Bruce is offering two ultra small workshops

that will concentrate on Scene Work and Audition Prep exclusively.

Only SIX Adult actors will be allowed in each group. Classes will run in blocks of EIGHT weeks and are held in Hollywood.

COLLEGE AUDITION WORKSHOPS

 

(In Hollywood)
(Please call about dates and price for this 5 Week class)
A special semi -private class designed to prepare those who will be auditioning for Colleges and Universities. In addition to winning preparation of audition pieces, there will also be assistance in designing your audition package including choice of monologues, choice of school, the interview, and which pieces to do for which school. Attendance is strictly limited to FIVE actors. All participants will also get ONE private hour prior to the auditions.

A special class designed to prepare those who will be auditioning for Colleges and Universities. All participants will also get ONE private hour prior to the auditions. One of the class sessions will be open to parents.

 

College/University Auditions

Special sessions and rates are available for College Auditions. Privates or Small Groups.

In 2006 five auditioning applicants competed for places in a collective seventeen universities. Based on their auditions, ALL were accepted to their first choice. One actress alone was accepted to SIX programs with three offering talent scholarships. In 2005 all but one of Bruce’s students, who auditioned, were accepted to the schools of their first choice. Over the years Bruce's actors have achieved an impressive collective acceptance rate of over 98% to such schools as NYU, DePaul University, SUNY Purchase, Emerson, CalArts, UCLA, USC, SMU, North Carolina School of the Arts, Boston University, and The Juilliard School. Studio Actreel clients have been equally successful in auditioning for Los Angeles and Orange County Schools of the Arts

If you pay in FULL by the 4th week before the start date of your class you will receive a $30.00 credit toward your class. So if your class is scheduled to start on July 6th, you have until June 10th to get the early payment discount.

— ACTOR REFERRALS —

Any actor who refers a full paying student to the program
will receive a $20.00 credit (per referral) toward their own tuition.
If, however, you refer FIVE full paying students
in one session your tuition bill is erased.

ALL ACTORS MUST BE PAID UP IN FULL PRIOR TO CLASS STARTING.

A $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO HOLD YOUR PLACE IN ANY OF THE CLASSES.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS SHOULD ONE DISCONTINUE ANY CLASS.

* Enrollment in ANY class is subject to instructor approval.

Because of the increased popularity of these classes I MUST put
enrollment on a first come first served basis.
